Running isn't everything.

"Numbing the pain for a while will make it worse when you finally feel it." - J K Rowling

Running away from something is never the best way to solve the problem. Maybe we can temporary run away. Who doesn't want to run away when the face hard times?.. Many of us do. When we feel pain, we would like to numb it. But when we faced it again, it hurts more than it is.

I did run away from my problems at times. I didn't want to face it.
But when I grew older, I know the problem is still there, is compiling up. And we need to face it, find a solution and get rid of it.

The solution is actually always there. But it might seem bad to me at first. Hence, I run away from using that solution too.

But when I choose to adopt it, apply it, now, I am free from heart. And am glad that I manage to.

There's a saying from the drama, Master Sun, "When your heart doesn't tell you the truth, the pain will."

How true can that be. We run away thinking that it will be gone. We numb the pain but actually it is there all along. It hurts much more than expected.

It's okay to run away I believe. But we just need to face it again. Take a rest, have a break and face it with courage.

When you really face it, you will enjoy the freedom you will have. That's when there will be no more pain. That's when you feel so comfortable doing anything again. That's when you know that outside point of view is just a view of theirs, you have yours. And the word "I don't care" will surface out again.

Note to self: The further you run away from a problem, the further you will run away from yourself. And in the end, you lose yourself. Face it, and you will find your way back to yourself. (:
